While I may not be able to confirm what department store operated here originally, the Lakeside Commons in Edinboro, PA screams architecturally to me to have been one at one time. At just shy of 75K sq ft., this late '70s building makes it the ideal size for a department store of that era. Personally, I lean toward this having been a Grant City, but again that is just a guess.
Regardless of what the prior tenant was, this post focuses on what operates here now: a mini mall anchored by a Dollar General with a couple of other tenants.
Overall, I find this a unique reuse of the building.
