Former Kmart #3981

NOTE: This post comes from outside the blog's coverage area.

Moving into New England. we now take a tour of the Rutland, VT Kmart. This location served as an anchor to the now defunct Diamond Run Mall. Being a '90s build, this store was a rare case where a regular store operated 2 main entrances (one exterior and one for the mall) while at a mall. The store once operated a cafe, but there appears to have never been a pharmacy at this location. This location is now abandoned.

  1. That tiny sign on the outside is cute, it's small enough a retail fan could have adopted it when they closed. Looks like maybe 8 feet wide tops

    1. Yep. Likely a local code enforcement issue prevented it from being any larger.
