May is here and that means it is time for another Kmart store tour. This month's tour is of the Pleasant Hills, PA location which was actually a rather nice store overall. Evidently, this location suffered heavy fire damage at or just before the turn of the century and was basically reopened as a brand new store in 2000. Sadly, the 'newness' wouldn't help as it would close as part of the first round of last year's bankruptcy wave.
I saved my favorite area for last. The checkout/cafe area:
