This month's Kmart tour brings us to Chesapeake, VA to tour a location in a former Robert Hall Village store. There were some unique aspects to this store as a result of that conversion- of which the biggest is probably the entry area. The store used similar layout to some former Grants stores Kmart took over, though there were some differences. The biggest of which would probably be the placement of the toys department. As mentioned previously, there are some locations that I did not make a map for. This store happens to be one of them.
The ceiling and lighting really do make it feel different.
ReplyDeleteGuess I'm used to it as a number of old Grants stores used a similar style of lighting. The ceiling is a bit unique though.
