This month we stop into Springfield proper and take a tour of an interesting location. I'm not sure of the history of this location, but this clearly was a location Kmart took over from somebody. (Update: It was a former JM Fields store.) There were no specialty departments at this store. This location is now subdivided between Fun City Adventure Park and a Citi Trends store.
This was a J.M. Fields POB. Kmart opened here on November 19, 1981.

DeleteI also forgot to say this space did not become Ocean State Job Lot, which is located a few spaces to the right. This Kmart store was split between Funcity Adventure Park and Cititrends.
