Now being the closest store to Binghamton, this Kmart is kind of an interesting one. By that I mean that it was originally a Grants store, but it appears to have been updated to look more like an older Kmart store. I know this was indeed a Grants is simply because of the old 'family dining' area.

The store is clean and well stocked. While I personally didn't see a lot of customers on my two separate visits, it must do well.
In Danger of Closing?: Hard to tell. It seems to be holding its own.
They must have cleaned it up recently. When I went in 2015, the parking lot was basically gravel, the store was dirty and poorly lit. The only redeeming feature was the proximity to a decent pizza place (called New York Pizza if I recall correctly.) Glad to see they did some work on it.
