NOTE: This post comes from outside the blog's coverage area.
Continuing right along with a look at the former Kmart stores in the Pittsburgh market, our next post in the series highlights the rather generic McMurrary location. There was nothing too special about this particular store as it was a fairly generic '90s store. I will say that the exterior entrance was a neat feature here. As you will see from the pics below, this store did have a Little Caesars, but it would close shortly before I visited. In fact, I was unaware there was no Little Caesars until I stopped in.

Umm, you left some evidence of Little Caesar up |
The exterior was definitely nice on this one. Interior looks clean and well-presented, too.
ReplyDeleteMost of these '90s stores felt taken care of.
ReplyDeleteIt's kinda surprising that they did close this Kmart, the nearest Walmart was in Washington, PA about 20 minutes away and was also in a busy shopping area with Giant Eagle, TJ Maxx and Tuesday Morning.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, this one wasn't surprising to me. While it had some business, it didn't have the same amount of traffic as some others did.
