Although most of Giant Eagle's stores are usually on the larger side, this is one of the rare exceptions. Operating out of a former A&P, this location is quite unique with its decor. A lot of vintage elements were present and it had a feel of a small town market.
So basically this is supposed to be a Centennial model? It looks to have been heavily modified from that.
ReplyDeleteI'm not terribly familiar with what design it used to be. I just know that this and the location in Oil City were former A&P locations.
DeleteDo you think this particular store will switch over to the new Giant Eagle corporate logo?
ReplyDeleteNot sure. It could, and if it does, that would in theory signal a long term commitment to the location. However, the store small size may deter them from wanting to update things.
DeleteThanks..I know the Oil City PA location, when it went to the new exterior logo and the roof was replaced, the cupola that on top of the roof that had been there for years was removed
ReplyDeleteThat would suggest they intend to keep Oil City around then.
