The mall itself is small, but has some really nice architecture to it. The main corridor has a slanted roof with windows on the top that face to the east. In my opinion, this mall is quite lively with a good number of stores to it.
Enjoy these photos I took of this charming cute little mall.
A general exterior of the mall. Note that the main entrance uses a Kmart facade. |
As is the case with most mall-based Kmart stores, you enter and walk down a hallway to enter Kmart. |
We will take a closer look at this Kmart location in a future Kmart post. |
Here you can see the mall's windows I mentioned. |
Planters! |
Looks like a former fountain has been covered over. |
No jewelry store here |
Nate,I remember when this mall was built in 1980..it used to have a National Record Mart(Where Olympia Sports is located)..A KarmelKorn(not sure where that was located)..a Rite-Aid..(where the Med Fast is located.I remember hanging out at this mall when I was younger, was always in the old video arcade..which I think was located behind where Olympia Sports is located now..I hope both Kmart and JC Penney survives..a great story !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your memories of the mall, as well as passing along some of the previous tenants! I too hope Kmart and JCPenney survive here.
DeleteA very nice little mall! Even with a few vacancies present, it looks like the mall is still doing well overall, which is nice to see.
ReplyDeleteRight! Honestly, this would my kind of mall.
